Topic: Has Billick lost control!
Ravens nation is recovering a little better today after having another day to recover from Sundays Meltdown. But then there's "Coach" Billick who thinks there is no need to punish his team for their actions sunday. Hey sure, they are professionals who get paid to play and they dont always win, thats fine but i have 2 year old cousins who don't have temper tantrums when they dont get their way. Sure there was the "fumble" , we all know Harrington threw that ball, and the questionable goal line "TD" but there are bad calls in every game and someone always gets the short end of the stick. Just because the Ravens got some bad calls dosent mean Chris McCalister can spike the ball at Detroit's Kevin Johnson after a interception. Way to go Chris help the team out then be a jerk and lose 15 yards, but you dont care you got your interception. What about Ed Reed ? You better be thanking your lucky stars you didnt get ejected but don't worry Sports Center aired you fixing the ref's shirt. Don't worry I'm sure the NFL will be sending you a friendly reminder that you can't do that. Thats your NFL defensive player of the year. Then theres Terrell Suggs who took 3 extra steps after Lions QB Joey Harrington got rid of the ball and proceded to drive him to the turf, then get right up in the referee's face coming into contact with him and getting himself ejected. How about your defense stoping the Lions offense on a goal line stand 3 consecutive playes then having a player flash an obscene gesture to the Ford Field crowd. All of this "Coach" Billick called passion. Billick thinks its not a discipline problem he thinks its a character issue. Last time I checked discipline helps build charecter. Billick thinks an fine won't do anything to help. I'd do. Fine those players who acted out of line and fine them atleast one games pay if not more. Passion is wanting to win. Passion is not breaking the rules you know you can't break. The same rules you havent been able to break since pee wee football. Get it together guys. Passion is what the Lions had, what Kevin Jones had.....Hey but look on the bright side Maryland Madness is Friday and college basketball starts soon. GO TERPS

O's need rehaul!
Mood:  d'oh
Topic: O's need to make change
Owner of the Orioles(if you can call him that) Peter Angelos, said Monday evening that Jim Beattie's three year run as executive vice president of baseball operations will officially end Nov. 1.Mike Flanagan moves up from vice president to assume Beattie's title and role in directing baseball matters. But is that a good idea ??? Don't get me wrong the Orioles need fresh faces in the front office but should they promote from within the organization. Yours truly, the B.S. Guru, thinks no way. This once prestigious organization has been rattled by controversy and has given new meaning to the word lost. Its Time to get rid of the losing way and get rid of all the front office staff that was here when the losing started. We haven't had a winning season in 8 years. There are plenty of managers and GM's available now. Lets start in a new direction. A winning one!
